Great Parks guests will soon be able to recycle more items instead of placing them in the garbage, thanks to the addition of 370 recycling bins in high traffic park areas and golf courses over the next several weeks.

Great Parks will welcome dozens of volunteers to beautify Winton Woods and Winton Lake during the Winton Woods Cleanup on Saturday, April 9.

Great Parks of Hamilton County announces the new park at 2918 Werk Road will open for walk-in access starting on April 1, 2022. The 22-acre property in Westwood will be the 22nd park under Great Parks’ stewardship.

Great Parks of Hamilton County has secured a $150,000 grant for the new Music Garden at Highfield Discovery Garden, an interactive space that will bring joy to guests and inspire future generations of musicians, gardeners and nature lovers.

On these nine days in 2022, community members can attend vibrant community events, golf with old friends or hike with their families without a Motor Vehicle Permit.

Great Parks of Hamilton County has secured $6 million in federal transportation funds to build the Glenwood Gardens to Winton Woods Trail. This important expansion of the regional trail network will connect the two parks and serve as a vital corridor to serve the surrounding communities for enhanced access to outdoor space.

Caren Laverty has been appointed to serve as president of the Board of Park Commissioners for Great Parks of Hamilton County. Her two-year term as president began on January 3, 2022.
