New Stand-Up Paddleboards and Programming Made Possible by ODNR Grant
Adventure Outpost, a teambuilding facility in Winton Woods, now has a dozen new stand-up paddleboards thanks to a Boating Safety Education Grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Parks & Watercraft. As a result, Adventure Outpost is offering programming where participants will learn basic paddleboard skills and safety on the water.

Great Parks of Hamilton County will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking to mark the start of construction of the final phase of the Little Miami Scenic Trail, known as the Beechmont Bridge Connector, which will link hundreds of miles of multipurpose trails in Greater Cincinnati and beyond.

Grant Aids Great Parks in Continuing Nature Education Programs through Pandemic
Great Parks’ nature education programming was significantly impacted during the pandemic, creating financial constraints and limiting staff and resources. Thanks to a grant from the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr. Foundation Great Parks has been able to bridge learning gaps and support school curriculum content with virtual programming.
