A Visit with the EWGA

All

Recently, I was invited to speak at an annual kick-off meeting of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA). This event takes place each year as a way to get the golf season started and promote all the golf activities they have planned for the upcoming season. Their organization does a great job to promote golf to women throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. Whether league play, golf outings, travel leagues, tournaments, social events or instructional programs, they provide a variety for their members to choose from. The Park District golf courses have been involved with many of the programs and events they offer since 2001. Meadow Links & Golf Academy is scheduled to provide many of their instructional programs this year. The first one, Getting Started Beginner Lessons, is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16.

The Cincinnati Chapter EWGA was founded in 1995 and has 175 members. They are part of the national EWGA which promotes golf to women all across the country. To learn more, visit the EWGA website at www.ewga.com.
