On Friday morning, Great Parks of Hamilton County stocked another 300 pounds of catfish in Lake Isabella. That brings our total amount for the month of August to more than 900 pounds and to more than 12,000 pounds of fish stocked into Lake Isabella this year. And it’s not over! We will be stocking channel catfish every Friday through September. You can check out our full stocking schedule here.

The summer is coming to an end very quickly, and the next two weekends will be your last chance for overnight fishing. After Labor Day, weekend our hours will change (open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays). At Lake Isabella, we also make our own secret recipe Strawberry Marinated Chicken Breast catfish bait. It’s one of our most popular catfish baits, so come out this weekend, pick some up, spend the night if you like and see if you can catch one of our monster blue catfish!
