Great Parks Passes Tax Levy
On November 2, 2021, Hamilton County voters elected to support Issue 29, Great Parks of Hamilton County’s proposed tax levy.
New Stand-Up Paddleboards and Programming Made Possible by ODNR Grant
Adventure Outpost, a teambuilding facility in Winton Woods, now has a dozen new stand-up paddleboards thanks to a Boating Safety Education Grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Parks & Watercraft. As a result, Adventure Outpost is offering programming where participants will learn basic paddleboard skills and safety on the water.
Ohio EPA Grant Supporting Education at Great Parks Nature Center at The Summit in Roselawn
Great Parks of Hamilton County is one of 12 organizations to have received an Ohio EPA Environmental Education Fund grant for projects focused on helping Ohioans understand topics like habitat restoration. The grant supports ongoing nature education programming at Great Parks Nature Center at The Summit.
Families Can Experience Highfield Discovery Garden Free Through the EBT/SNAP Program
Great Parks recognizes that the cost of admission to Highfield Discovery Garden can create a barrier for families. That is why Great Parks is now offering Ohio EBT/SNAP cardholders free admission to Highfield Discovery Garden.
