Great Parks is strategically expanding its recycling program to accept old cellphones and smartphones in specially marked bins at parks and golf courses throughout Hamilton County.

This past holiday season, Great Parks of Hamilton County’s holiday lights recycling program collected 11,840 pounds of lights, the second largest amount in the history of the annual program.

Great Parks guests will soon be able to recycle more items instead of placing them in the garbage, thanks to the addition of 370 recycling bins in high traffic park areas and golf courses over the next several weeks.
