When 2020 started, who knew the new decade would start with such a whirlwind? While we can’t celebrate our 90th birthday with you in person, you can see how we became the park district we are today with this interactive timeline. Some things have stayed the same – like the first park structure, Pavilion Grove Shelter in Sharon Woods – while other things have changed quite a bit over nine decades – like our name.
