Did you know queen snakes (Regina septemvittata) like to hang out in branches over streams? Queen snakes are excellent swimmers that will drop to into water to catch food or when they feel threatened. Queen snakes prey on crayfish that have recently molted, and sometimes small fish, frogs, tadpoles, snails and newts.
