Ending the Summer on the Right Hook

Fishin' Line

On Sunday, September 21, Jake Durbin, from Hamilton, Ohio, didn’t let a broken arm slow him down in landing the big one. Jake, at only 13 years old, wrestled in a 30-pound blue catfish with only one arm! Jake was fishing with his dad, Dale Durbin, at Miami Whitewater Forest Lake, when he got the big bite. The father/son team used live bluegill to catch him.

Since early September, Bob Mobley, has been tearing up the bass at Miami Whitewater Forest Lake. Bob’s special baits are a Junebug Culprit worm and a black/blue Beaver.
