WWRC Volunteer of the Month: June 2013

Writings on Riding

Bill Anderson has been a volunteer with the Winton Woods Riding Center (WWRC) since 2004! He is a super, “do-anything” kind of guy. For years, Bill has been part of our holiday feed crew, our emergency snow crew and our announcing crew at the horse shows to name a few. Of course, Bill’s number one job at the WWRC is as Sensei the Trainer. On Sundays, Bill works with two groups of staff and students in natural horsemanship skills. Bill is an expert horse reader and has an amazing ability to explain to his students what to look for on the ground and in the saddle. Sensei Bill and his crew of students have transformed many of our new (and sometimes old!) horses into being lifelong members of our herd. Bill is pictured here with Jazz, one of his former project horses.

Thank you, Bill, for all of your time and dedication!
