Great Parks is bringing fairy tale characters and magical creatures to the trees and flowers of Glenwood Gardens with the first Fairy Tale Festival, at Highfield Discovery Garden from noon–5 p.m. on Saturday, June 18.

Children will create treasured memories when they meet their favorite fairy tale characters in person. The day will feature Madcap Puppet shows, a fairy trading post, magical crafts, food trucks and vendors. Also included will be a bounce house, inflatable maze and Great Parks nature interpreters who will be introducing animal ambassadors to festival guests.

Under its 25-foot-tall Discovery Tree, the Highfield Discovery Garden is the picture-perfect setting for the Fairy Tale Festival. The area features seven smaller gardens including a wizard’s garden, trolley garden, butterfly garden and other areas that bring together imagination and the natural world in a fun, engaging environment. Highfield Discovery Garden is located at 10397 Springfield Pike in Cincinnati.

Cost of admission to the festival for Highfield Discovery Garden passholders is $4 per person, and the activity bracelet can be purchased on site at the festival. For those without an annual pass, the cost is $10 per person. The festival includes admission to the Highfield Discovery Garden.

Guests can also preregister by purchasing admission tickets online ahead of the event. Purchase your activity bracelet online on the Great Parks Special Events Calendar.
