Colossal Winner at Lake Isabella

Twenty weeks have gone by since Great Parks started its newest fishing event at Lake Isabella: the Colossal Fish Contest! Over the course of these 20 weeks, we saw more than 500 entries with 16 different weekly winners with more than $1,200 in Great Parks’ prize certificates awarded to the winners!

For our Colossal (grand prize) Winner, we have to go all the way back to week 1, when Mark Davis weighed in an impressive 53-pound blue catfish! Congratulations to Mark, who won:

• RIPSAW Prize Pack, including a RIPSAW rod, Abu Garcia Ambassadeur reel, RIPSAW floats, bait, hat, T-shirt, bag and stickers
• Great Parks’ 2016 Rowboat Pass
• Bragging rights for a year
• His name on the Colossal Winners plaque for years to come

Week 1 & Colossal Grand Prize Winner: Mark Davis with a 53-pound blue catfish

Marks’ colossal winnings are worth over $400! The picture of Mark and his colossal fish will be enlarged and displayed behind the counter at Lake Isabella for the next year for all to see.
