Fishing Season Kicks Off with Trout Stocking at Lake Isabella

It’s a sure sign that spring is just around the corner when Lake Isabella opens for business on Friday, March 1.

Lake Isabella kicks off the season with 750 pounds of trout stocked in the lake. There will be stocking throughout the season at Lake Isabella, Miami Whitewater Forest, Sharon Woods, Winton Woods and Campbell Lakes. A daily ticket (12 hour/24 hour) is required to fish at Lake Isabella. An adult ticket is $10.00 for 12 hours/$16.50 for 24 hours, seniors are $2.50 for 12 hours/$25.00 for the season and a child is $1.00 for 12 hours/$10.00 for the season. Rowboats are also available for rent at $10.33 for six hours and $12.21 for 12 hours.

Lake Isabella is located at 10174 Loveland-Madeira Road. A valid Hamilton County Park District Motor Vehicle Permit ($10.00 annual; $3.00 daily) is required to enter the parks.
