A Deal Fishermen Can’t Pass Up

If you’re passionate about fishing at the Hamilton County Park District lakes, we have the perfect solution for you! For the third year in a row we are offering an Annual Rowboat Pass. This pass gives you unlimited rowboat access to Sharon Woods, Winton Woods and Miami Whitewater Forest Lakes. The Annual Rowboat Pass is only $110.00 and is good for the entire 2013 season. The pass can pay for itself in just eight visits! Email fishinline@greatparks.org for more information on the Annual Rowboat Pass.

Panfish Cup at MWF

The first tournament of the Panfish Cup series will be held at Miami Whitewater Forest Lake. There is no limit to the number of bluegill and crappie that you can weigh-in at this fun event. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams at each tournament. The team that weighs-in the most fish through all eight events will win the cherished “Panfish Cup.” Entry fees are $40.00 per team, per tournament, which includes the boat rental. Sign-up the morning of the tournament beginning at 7 am.

It’s Now Prime Time Trout Season!

Lake Isabella has already had two shipments of trout stocked, totaling 1,150 pounds! Now is the perfect time to put some Powerbait on a hook and catch some yourself. Lake Isabella has three more shipments of trout coming in March, with the next shipment of 400 pounds on March 15.
