Camping season will be here very soon and the Hamilton County Park District is accepting reservations for campsites. Whether it’s a weekend stay or a long vacation, Park District campgrounds offer great views and amenities.
Winton Woods Campground Opens March 1
Winton Woods Campground includes eight large deluxe cabins that sleep up to six with all the luxuries of home, 25 RV back-in and 12 RV pull-through sites all with full hookup, 10 basic cabins and 68 sites with 30 amp hookups. The campground office includes a store and a snack bar. There is also a group activity shelter, playground, visitor parking, two dump stations and Wi-Fi. Miami Whitewater Forest Campground Opens March 9
MiamiWhitewaterForest offers a quiet 46 site campground, each with 30 amp electric hookups and includes a picnic table and fire ring. A dump station, as well as a new accessible shower building and playground are located within the campground. Steamboat Bend at Woodland Mound Opens April 1
Steamboat Bend is located along the Ohio River and features 55 tree-lined campsites. Each site features water and 30 amp electric hookups, picnic table and fire ring. There is also a dump station located within the campground. Camping at Steamboat Bend is permitted only for self-contained trailers or recreational vehicles with paid, advance reservations. Weekly, monthly and seasonal rentals are available. Reservations are accepted only by phone at (513) 851-2267 or by visiting the Winton Woods Campground Office.
