On September 17–18, Meadow Links & Golf Academy was honored to host the 2013 Special Olympics Ohio State Golf Tournament. As the largest Special Olympics golf event in the country, 236 athletes and their playing partners participated in either individual play or a unified/modified shot format.

This was the 21st year for Meadow Links to host the tournament. Individuals and teams qualified through local qualifiers held throughout the state. This year, three athletes will qualify for the 2014 National Games, which will be played next summer in New Jersey.
