The Hamilton County Parks Foundation is proud to receive a $10,000 grant from REI in support of the Hamilton County Park District Volunteer Stewardship Program.

 “We are excited to provide the Hamilton County Parks Foundation with funding,” says David Jayo, Corporate Giving Manager, “but more importantly, we are committed to strengthening our partnership. Working together, we hope to build greater awareness of the Foundation’s work and REI’s investment in the organization.”

The Park District is dedicated to engaging volunteers through its Stewardship Program, including the reforestation of natural areas to combat invasive species, trail construction and maintenance, waterway cleanups of debris and litter, harvesting native seeds for planting and habitat preservation.
