Go Take a Hike!

All, Stories

As the self-proclaimed authority on everything, the Internet has a day for just about any occasion. It’s only logical that November 17 was deemed National Take a Hike Day. Of course, with 78 miles of nature, paved, fitness, horse and mountain bike trails at Great Parks, this is the perfect day to get outside and explore your parks!

We rounded up nature interpreters and other members of the Great Parks team and asked them what their favorite trails are. While some team members couldn’t choose just one trail, there was an overall agreement that no matter what trail you choose to hike on while at a great park, every trail offers amazing views –  and will help you get your exercise in, too.
